My Family Book makes custom board books that help babies learn the faces and names of their family. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. My Family Book is run by Shaan Shah as a sole proprietor.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and shipping address.
- Book details: the baby's name, the names and relationships of the people and pets in the book, and your family's naming customs if you share them.
- Photos you or the people you invite upload, including photos of children, and the face area you mark on each one.
- Messages you exchange with us by text message or chat.
- When an upload link was opened and whether a photo was added, so we can follow up if a photo hasn't arrived.
How we use it
We use your information only to make and deliver your book, to talk with you about your order, and to provide support. We use photos only to make your book. We do not use them for advertising and do not post them anywhere without your written permission.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us make your book, and only as much as they need:
- Secure cloud hosting and storage for your order details and photos.
- AI services that help us check photo quality and run our order assistant.
- A photo editing service that removes photo backgrounds for the pages.
- Our printing partner, which prints and ships the book.
- Our text messaging provider, which delivers our texts.
- Our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described above and will not be shared with any third parties.
Photos of children and family
Books are ordered by adults: parents, relatives and friends of the family. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. If you upload a photo of someone else, or forward an upload link to them, please make sure they are happy for their photo to be used in the book. Photos are kept in private storage and are never public.
How long we keep it
We keep order details and photos for 6 months after your book is delivered, so you can reorder, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

To see, correct or delete your information, email shahshaan@gmail.com. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
